Series Hexagona, A robust plant 45 - 80cm high with slender leaves 1.5 - 2.5cm wide. Flowers are 5.5 - 6.5cm wide of red - red copper standards and falls with deeper colouring at the centre and veined very dark red. Standards are shorter than the falls and are narrow obovate in shape. The falls are 3-7 cm. long and oval in shape. Both standards and falls arch downwards leaving the style arms at an oblique angle.

Suitable for moist soil, water gardens, self watering pots. Full sun. Easy care.
